Steam-powered cotton-spinning mills built in 1860 and 1868 and burnt down in 1875 and 1912 respectively. Rebuilt five-storeyed thirteen-bay mill of 1875, and four-storeyed fifteen-bay mill of 1912 designed by Thomas Kershaw, both of fireproof construction. Other buildings include warehouses of 1871 and mid to late 1880s, with stable and cart shed added against former and office against latter.
