Yorkshire > West Yorkshire > Haworth > Dunkirk Mill
Water-powered worsted-spinning mill, established c1800. Main building is a two-storeyed eight-bay mill largely of c1870 but incorporating remains of early mill in area of wheelhouse. Cottages, a mill extension used in the late 19th century for corn milling, remains of added steam power plant, and extensive headrace and mill dam complete the complex. Waterwheel replaced by a water turbine, still in situ.
