Fleece Mills is long gone. It is now a retail park. In the 1970's it was part of British Mohair Spinners. It closed in the early 80's. For a while in the early 80's a well-known local general dealer called Arthur Peckover kept a place there and a woman called Shirley Tarpy made and served home-cooked meals in the old canteen. In 1986 the site became a retail park, the main occupant of which was then W H Smith Do-It-All (where I worked part-time in the summer of 1986).
