Clough Lee Mill was Robinsons Dye Works until its closure around 1930. There were a few years where the mill lay unoccupied until being taken over by Belgian families Bailly and Ancion and operated as Bailly-Ancion Wool-scourers from 1934 until the mid 1990's when the mill was sold and the land developed to the residential aspect currently seen (2019).
There is a footpath (fairly overgrown) up the side of the mill-pond outfall and just below the outfall (to the right-hand side of the apartment block) the developers have incorporated the Bailly-Ancion mill gate-head into the railings, thoughtful but difficult to find with the overgrowth.
