Worked from 1958 as 15 year old engineering apprentice) to 1970 (Design Engineer) on the upper floor design office at Scarr Bottom Mill. Gorden Kaye, the TV star series,(Allo - Allo) served there briefly as an office worker. My dad, mum (briefly) brother and Uncle worked there for a while at Meltham Mills too. So did my girlfriend Margaret (now my wife). I moved to Peterborough (Perkins) in 1970,S and to see David Brown Tractors'Case shut down some years following CASE take- over. Still that's how it goes.
