Description
Built probably in late 18th century as single-storeyed water-powered fulling mill; steam power added c1835 and mill heightened to three storeys soon after. Site comprises main mill, attached end engine house, fragmentary remains of chimney, site of boiler house, and attached and detached sheds and cottage. Mill dam infilled but weir survives. Although much altered, mill important in showing small size of some early establishments.
