Yorkshire > West Yorkshire > Pudsey > New Street Mills
Built in 1871 by Pudsey Worsted Mill Company, probably as specialist weaving mill but later functioning as room and power factory: there were eight occupiers in 1910-11. Mill of 1871 comprised a large warehouse (three storeys, nineteen bays), attached weaving shed, corner engine house and boiler house. Narrow yard separates the original mill from a second shed and warehouse block which derived power from 1871 engine house.
