Cotton-weaving mill built in 1858 as speculation by Pecket Well Weaving Shed Co Ltd; tenanted and then purchased in 1862 by John Wilcock and Sons. Steampowered single-storeyed weaving shed with attached single-beam engine house and warehouse. Shed doubled in size before attached four-storeyed warehouse, office and sizing place rebuilt after fire in 1873.
