Steam-powered cotton-weaving mill comprising single storeyed shed and multi-storeyed warehouse built in 1860-1, both subsequently enlarged, the shed in 1884-5 and 1892-3. Original shed and warehousing rebuilt after fire in 1896, latter as four-storeyed building including offices and boiler house. Building of 1884-5 designed by Proctor and Hinnall of Bolton; those of 1892-3 and 1896 by John R Blacka of Todmorden and Littleborough.
